Good food wonderful view Pub menu pub but very well executed. All 4 of us had delicious food (both main and pudding). Beautiful view from the terrace at the back. Good service. Will look forward to coming back.

Always wanted to try and not disappointed. Wonderful setting and food very nice. The outside balcony was lovely on a summers evening. Service good and friendly, would return again.

Excellent Sunday Lunch A little off the main road but we’ll worth the effort to find down the lanes. Unplanned Sunday lunch stop off driving home from a weekend away in Chichester. Stunning views match the excellent food and customer service.

limited space in bedroom Lovely staff. We went for two nights B and B. Sadly the room was more like a single room. No chair very small room for two people. Very clean room. Shower the best thing about the room. We tried to change rooms but all booked and all similar in size. English Breakfast delicious - Continental limited but lovely yoghurts.

Amazing country pub I visited the Sportsman again this year and all I can say is what I’ve said before - amazingly tasty food, well prepared and served, friendly staff who make you feel welcome and valued. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and with good views. The weather wasn’t good enough to let us sit outside and watch the sun going down, but when the opportunity arises it is amazing. Well worth the trip as this little Gem of a pub will not disappoint
